Important note: LotteryKadai is a bookkeeping and shop-management software tool for licensed lottery retail agents. It does not sell lottery tickets, conduct lotteries, take bets, or pay prize money.
Draw results shown in the app are for convenience only. Always verify winning numbers against the official Kerala Government Gazette before making prize payments.
1. Acceptance & service overview
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Appspire Labs Private Limited ("LotteryKadai", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to the LotteryKadai mobile application and website (the "Service").
By downloading, signing into, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
What LotteryKadai is: A mobile software application designed to help retail lottery agents manage their shop inventory, record counter sales, maintain customer credit ledgers (khata), track distributor accounts, and check published draw results.
What LotteryKadai is not: We are an independent private technology provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the Kerala State Lotteries Department or the Government of Kerala. All physical ticket transactions and prize distributions take place independently at your shop counter.
2. Eligibility & your account
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and hold any applicable lottery retail authorization or license required in your jurisdiction.
- Mobile Sign-in: Accounts are authenticated securely via one-time passwords (OTP) sent to your mobile number. You are responsible for keeping your phone and OTP codes secure.
- Shop Roles & Staff: Shop owners may invite staff members and set specific permissions. Owners remain responsible for activity carried out under their shop account.
3. Shop records & communications
- Ownership of Records: All inventory, sales figures, expenses, and customer ledger entries entered into the app remain your property. We claim no ownership over your business records.
- Customer Data: When recording a customer's phone number or name for khata, you confirm that you have obtained their consent to maintain credit records at your counter.
- Product & Promotional Updates: By using the Service, you agree that we may occasionally send you relevant notifications, feature updates, special offers, and information about related products or complementary services that support your business. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.
4. Lottery results & verification
The app displays Kerala lottery draw results fetched from publicly published official sources for your convenience. While we strive for timely and accurate information:
- Draw result matches, commission calculations, and win alerts are automated aids and may occasionally be delayed or subject to publication revisions.
- Mandatory Gazette Check: You must independently verify any winning ticket against the official Kerala Government Gazette before paying out prize money to any customer.
- LotteryKadai assumes no liability for prize payouts, claims, or financial losses arising from reliance on in-app result displays.
5. Plans, billing & refunds
- Free Trial & Free Plan: New shops enjoy a free 30-day trial without needing payment details. Following the trial, shops may continue on our Free plan with basic limits or upgrade to a paid plan.
- Prepaid Plans: All paid plans are one-time prepaid purchases (GST extra). There are no auto-debits, recurring hidden mandates, or surprise renewals. You choose when and if you wish to renew.
- Plan Expiry: When a prepaid plan ends, your existing data remains completely safe and intact. The shop simply adjusts to Free plan limits until renewed.
- Refunds: If you change your mind within 24 hours of payment, you may request a refund by emailing lotterykadai@appspirelabs.com with your registered mobile number and transaction reference. Your shop will be downgraded to the Free plan (all data remains safe) and the fee refunded within 7 working days. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful activity, online lottery ticket sales, gambling, or betting schemes.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass plan limits or system security.
- Misrepresent the Service as an official government lottery agency or publication.
- Attempt unauthorized access to other shops' records or our infrastructure.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- We do not guarantee that the service will be entirely uninterrupted or error-free.
- LotteryKadai and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, business interruption, or incorrect prize payouts made at your shop.
- Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the total fees you paid to us for the Service during the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
8. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kerala, India.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect product improvements. Continued use of the Service after updates indicates your acceptance.
